Boys & Girls Clubs of America

Boys & Girls Club of America's mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Since 2002, Staples Foundation has supported Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA). During that time, the Foundation has donated millions of dollars to the organization. And since 2003, the Foundation has helped BGCA grow its Torch Clubs, a national character-and leadership-development program for 11–13-year-olds. Through the Torch Club, staff help to develop powerful skill-sets for younger adolescents at critical stages in young people’s development.

Every year Staples recognizes community-based Torch Clubs that are engaged in meaningful service projects, making a positive difference in the community. These recognized Torch Clubs receive donations and are recognized in the community through external media outreach.
