Boys & Girls Clubs of America provides a safe place to learn and grow — all while having fun. The Clubs offer innovative programs and a professional staff that instill in young people a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Staples Foundation for Learning is a 3-year, $2.5 million supporter of Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Staples' first international partner, Ashoka, is a global association of leading social entrepreneurs — individuals with innovative and practical ideas for addressing social needs around the world. Staples Foundation for Learning supports the Youth Venture program, which empowers youth to act as positive agents for social change in their communities by participating in and leading projects that increase their life, learning and leadership skills, and motivate them to be highly engaged community members.

Earth Force engages young people as active citizens who improve the environment and their communities now and in the future. Staples Foundation for Learning supports the Global Rivers Environmental Education Network and Community Action and Problem Solving programs that offer educators innovative materials, training and support that help youth connect to their communities and address environmental issues. Educators and schools participating in Earth Force receive award-winning curriculum, training and on-going professional development, and have access to a network of community experts and partners that make Earth Force projects both a school and community effort.

The mission of ICIC is to harness for-profit business development and private investments to accelerate sustainable job growth, income and wealth creation for inner-city residents. Staples Foundation for Learning is a supporter of ICIC's Inner City 100, an annual list recognizing the fastest-growing inner-city companies in America, developed in partnership with Inc. Magazine.

Hispanic Heritage Foundation celebrates and promotes Hispanic culture, education and accomplishment through national and regional programs, focusing on putting Hispanics in a position from which to lead. The Foundation supports the Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards (HHYA), which identify and promote the next generation of Hispanic role models by celebrating their accomplishments in the classroom and community. The Foundation also supports Latinos on Fast Track (LOFT), which develops productive and sustainable relationships between top Hispanic young professionals and America's workforce.
